Need a roadmap? Some organizational tools? A framework? Here we list some tools that may be helpful:
"Creating Value with CO-STAR" is an innovation tool created by friends of mine for perfecting and pitching your brilliant idea.
The PREP, created during my years as Publisher of Invent! Magazine, has been helpful to inventors as a roadmap and innovation tool.
My "A6" Process is a simple process framework to evaluate, organize and act on ideas.

CO-STAR by Enterprise Development Group
This is a power-packed guide written by good friends of mine, who happen to be among the top practitioners of innovation in global enterprise. And it's easy to follow and accessible for any size enterprise. Buy it on Amazon.
CO-STAR is an acronym for • Customer • Opportunity • Solution • Team • Advantage • Result.
It's a result of the work of Enterprise Development Group in Palo Alto, whose clients include: BBC, Johnson & Johnson, Kaiser Permanente, Panasonic, Panera Bread, Stanford University, Swisscom, Toyota and the US Air Force.
It's a great tool.

P.R.E.P.
PREP = Product Review & Evaluation Plan. It's a series of questions developed for independent inventors back in the day of Invent! Magazine. It's still a useful roadmap for anyone in the product design and development process.
Being reimagined as an interactive book, the PREP in its current form can be accessed where it currently resides HERE on the Designfluence website.

The A6 Process
"A6" is one simple process I invented for working through problems:
1. Awareness - Do you know what the problem is?
2. Acceptance - Now that you know, accept responsibility so you can work on it.
3. Assembly - Get your team together and acquire the resources you need.
4. Agreement - All stakeholders must agree to collaborate and work toward the common goal.
5. Action - Just do it.
6. Adjustment - Now that you've done, make adjustments, then start over at #1.
This is just one process that can be used to help you and/or your team move forward.
